Two reserves that we haven't visited for some time. We are hoping for some interesting reached birds and warblers at Newport while Nagshead should also hold Pied Flycatcher and Redstart amongst other woodland species.

Bempton Cliffs gives us our annual fix of sea birds and can also hold some surprises. Blackout is a reserve we haven't visited for a few years. Hopefully warblers and waders will entertain us here.

Weekend Field Trips

Twice a year, we enjoy residential weekends to - Devon in spring and Norfolk in autumn - exploring fantastic birding spots.

We watch for special species like Cirl Bunting, Dartford Warbler, Snow Bunting, and Shorelark, along with any surprises.

We also run coach trips to favourites like Rutland Water, Bempton Cliffs, and Gibraltar Point, ensuring a variety of habitats.

And while we can’t guarantee what you'll see, we plan trips around seasonal highlights, from seabirds to raptors.

These trips are a great way to discover new places, improve bird identification skills, and enjoy the company of fellow bird enthusiasts!
